Designers show off a modern version of the classic Farmhouse

This lovely abode, H2 Design + Build's interpretation of a "modern Farmhouse," calls the quiet town of Medina, Washington home. According to the designer's website, the home was designed to be as simple as possible, but it still manages to capture the Farmhouse essence. The interior of the house features a mixture of styles, textures, and materials that result in a unique home.
The large porch that is an identification mark of Farmhouse-style homes faces the rear of the house while the front of the house has a traditional garage and entrance.

One of the home's design mantras was "finding beauty in the unexpected," and the choice of furniture and pieces reflect that idea. An eclectic range of colors and shapes spreads through every room in the house.
A wonderful antique chest makes for a makeshift coffee table.
The dining room features a perfect mixture of comfort and style.
The hallway-style kitchen features large windows througout.
The faucet coming from the stove's backsplash is a nice aesthetic touch, although unfortunately it doesn't deposit olive oil.
The sliding room divider seems styled after something you'd find in a barn.
The bathroom design is a mixture of industrial and modern. An elegant marble sink serves as the focal point.
The master bedroom has a more relaxed style than the rest of the house, perfect for a room you'd want to unwind in.
