Tour this darling farmhouse with rustic touches

The Fourez family farm, inhabited by Liz, her husband, and two growing boys, is situated in sunny Indiana. Liz and her family moved in in 2012 after her husband spent a winter getting the home ready for them to move in.  However, since their arrival Liz has added her personal touch to the home in color, furnishings and design.
According to her blog, Love Grows Wild, Liz is often referred to as a Mini Martha as she loves homemaking and everything it entails.  This isn't hard to understand after you have perused through her Instagram feed.  She truly has an eye for rustic farmhouse design.

The entire home reflects her love of shiplap, neutral tones and classic woodwork. And if you love the pictures you see here, stay tuned.  Liz has a book coming out at the end of this year entitled 'A Touch of Farmhouse Charm'.
Just inside the front door sits a rustic church pew that provides extra seating, as well as setting the tone for this classic farmhouse.
Since there is very little space between the front door and the dining room, a large area rug is used to create a natural boundary around the eating area.
The galley kitchen remains open and airy because of the set of large windows at the end of the space.
A cutout above the kitchen provides a view of family and friends entering the home.
The living room features a unique coffee table constructed out of an old cream can and a large, circular slab of wood.

A natural wood wardrobe adds interest, and additional storage, to the living room.
The shiplap wall application in the master bedroom offers a rustic backdrop to the black, iron bed frame.
This boy's room gets an unexpected hit of pattern with a paint application designed to mimic plaid.
The bathroom features lots of feminine edges and soft touches in the vanity mirror, willowy curtains and curved lines of the bathtub.
The soft brown tones in the sisal rug, wooden table, and window treatments provide a neutral backdrop to this creative space.
