The family behind the Instagram account, 'A White Farmhouse' have been lovingly restoring their 1910 home for the past few years. Focusing on the indoors first, they have renovated most of the rooms with modern finishes and conveniences. However, this does not mean that the home lacks character. Vintage and reclaimed items, like the clawfoot tub in the master bath, are seen throughout the home.
The bright, white kitchen features open shelving that was repurposed from wood found in the original farmhouse. Not many can boast that their shelves were made from 100-year-old wood. The only downside to this gorgeous farmhouse was that it was a bit too small. This lack of space is what precipitated the construction of an addition where there was originally a deck. The extra room allows the family to spread out a little more, as well as host those large family gatherings.
