Tour this restored Dutch Colonial farmhouse

Tonya, the vision behind the Instagam page Rustic and Woven, and her husband share this 1930's Dutch Colonial home located just outside Chicago. However, this cozy home isn't their first renovation.  It is actually their third, and it shows.  Tonya's eye for design has taken this dated home and transformed it into a rustic farmhouse retreat.  Considering the home's age it is wonderful to see so much of its original charm.
The wooden staircase, curved doorways and brick fireplace are just a few of the authentic details seen throughout the home.  The application of white paint really allows the architecture of the home to stand out.  As well, Tonya's selection of neutral furniture, worn textiles and vintage finds add to the appeal of the home's effortless design.

The white and wood toned staircase displays just one of the homes original architectural features.
The square dining room space is accented perfectly by a small oval table and soft, curved seating.
Soft neutrals and wooden elements make this room feel comfortable and welcoming.
