Take a peek into this vibrant country farmhouse

Heather and Dave, the husband and wife team behind The Heathered Nest, are two urban professionals who decided to make a life change in the country outside Washington, DC.  While their professional careers, physical therapist and engineer, don't deal directly with farmhouse renovations, they seem to be perfectly suited to a project of this scale. In fact, they work so well together that their home has been featured in many magazines like This Old House and Cottages & Bungalows. While Heather has a natural ability to transform older homes into stunning centerpieces worthy of a magazine spread, her talents shine through in the bedroom, bedroom design that is.
Each of her children's rooms, as well as the master, are full of character and rustic charm.  She has utilized faux paint finishes, wood-paneled ceilings, and bovine artwork to create truly memorable spaces for her loved ones.  Once you see the photos below you will understand just what I mean.
