Texas Farmhouse has well-designed interior

This wonderful Farmhouse style Austin home is as cozy as it is beautiful. A large, open living room lets in plenty of outside light with its oversized windows and the exposed framing on the roof give it a Craftsman feel. The centerpiece of the property has the be the old-fashioned fire stove, which after several decades still works like a charm.
The white walls and ceiling are perfectly complemented by the hardwood flooring and matching support beam.

The fire stove is set on a raised platform with space underneath -- perfect for storing logs to prevent them from getting soggy in the rain or snow.
The rustic oak coloring extends to the staircase and entertainment center, while of the furniture and the stair handrails are black.
The white/oak/black color scheme finds its way into every room, including this office.
The kitchen is mainly stainless steel, but otherwise keeps the home's color scheme consistent.
The master bedroom has arched ceilings and a wonderful view of the outside treetops.
The bathroom is a mixture of modern and industrial, with black pipe fittings making up the support towel racks and table legs.

According to the home's Houzz page, the materials in the home were chosen because they would last a long time and age well.
