This Georgia farmhouse is perfectly cozy

This beautiful farmhouse in small-town Georgia was built in the 1830s. Almost two centuries later, it needed some TLC to restore it to its former glory. The team of architects and designers worked carefully to honor its original character. They stripped away several rounds of renovations and restored its pine floors and wall boards.
At the same time, they modernized the home by team adding new porch, mud room, office and laundry room. The decor throughout the home is neutral and comfortable, allowing the architecture to really shine.

Underneath the staircase, an upholstered chair and weathered create a cozy nook.
In the kitchen, the white cabinets were designed to complement the wall boards. Black granite counter tops and dark stools provide contrast.
The living room, meanwhile, is perfectly cozy. A weathered table, old photographs and plants add texture to the white furniture.
The bathroom features a claw-foot tub and simple fixtures.
Of all the charming rooms, the porch might be the loveliest. Hints of coral and turquoise punch up the neutral decor.
