A peek inside a charming Virginia farmhouse

When you think of the common characteristics of a classic farmhouse - sometimes referred to as folk houses - you likely picture the big porch out front (complete with a set of rocking chairs), wood walls and floors, and the surrounding greenery. This Midlothian, Virginia home has all the makings of a quintessential farmhouse - and a little more.
The house is a shade over 3,000 square feet and boasts four bedrooms and three and a half baths, according to Metal Building Homes. Not only is there a porch out front to welcome visitors, but the house also has one out back. As far as the interior goes, check out some photos below; you won't be disappointed.

An alternate view of the kitchen shows off the hanging light fixtures and clean cabinets.
The dining room also features a set of hanging light fixtures. The large windows next to the table allow for plenty of natural light.
The living room has wooden floors and an abundance of seating options.
Here's one of the four bedrooms. The lightly colored walls compliment the bed spread nicely.
The bathroom also has wooden floors to go along with granite countertops and a spacious shower.
Here's another bedroom, perhaps the master, complete with a chandelier and windows galore.
The back porch is surrounded by a lush lawn and towering trees. This is the ideal spot to host a group of family and friends.
Seek shade or sunlight on the porch.
