100-year-old Farmhouse stands the test of time

When you think of what a 100-year-old Farmhouse might look like, you might expect the frame of the house to be crumbling and in dire need of repair. However, this Deep Gap, North Carolina Farmhouse is quite the opposite. With recent renovations, the old building -- originally built in the 1920s, is standing the test of time.
The land around the estate is almost as impressive as the house. Acres of forested land surrounds the house and provides an excellent view from the front porch. You'd never have to worry about noisy neighbors!

The inside of the house has been refurbished, but a lot of effort was taken to keep the house from feeling too modern. The kitchen features new appliances, but not far away is the home's original firewood stove.
The colors may be a bit bold for some tastes, but at least it's easy to repaint!
The master bedroom is simple and clean.
The guest bedrooms are colorful, but minimalistic.
During the snowy months, the house transforms into a winter wonderland.
