Small Farmhouse makes for a cozy retreat

This 1670-square-foot Farmhouse isn't the most spacious estate to be featured on Country Home Tours, but what it lacks in size it more than makes up for with personality. The home is designed with maximum comfort in mind. Rather than adopt modern designs, the home's aesthetic harkens back to a more simple time.
When guests walk into the Farmhouse, they're instantly greeted by the cozy living room. Gentle earth tones give the room a serene, calm tone.

The kitchen features a wide doorless partition that has a medium-sized wood island under some hanging lights. As with many other rooms in the house, the kitchen opts for simple color schemes.
The bathroom uses a bolder yellow color to help it stand out, but keeps everything else simple.
The guest room features double beds and an underwater theme. Fish line the walls behind the beds, and sailboats and other nautical knick-knacks.
The master bedroom is more spacious and has an elegant four-post bed. Large windows allow light to pour into the sleeping space.
Outside, the house features a classic Farmhouse porch that wraps around the front and side of the building. It also features the classic white and black color combination that has become the standard for Farmhouse-inspired homes.
The layout of the Farmhouse is called the Sugarberry Cottage, and it was designed by Standout Cabin Designs. Those looking to purchase the design for their own future home may do so on their website.
